I went to Madison's today for the first time, and I gotta say I was impressed with the decor, very upscale with down home prices. The food was good, I got a sandwich but my husband ordered a special and I wished I ordered it! it was great! service is a little slow, but I dont mind the wait for good food. No complaints other than the service. If you want a clean restaurant with good prices and great atmosphere look no further!

Horrible customer service. Very rude owners. I should have checked out the other reviews before dining. Everything was fine util the bill came. We were charged $6 for a house side salad! That's ridiculous! On top of paying almost $9 for a burger that came with a SMALL portion of OLD fries. Save your money and go to Central Park on 54! Better servers, portions, and food! And not to mention you have to park your car on rocks in the parking lot!

Wow wow wow, we pulled up and Tom came out, got a table ready for us, helped with mom's walker. Service is super friendly, food is quick and as requested. This is the best lunch and breakfast spot hands down in this area. Yum yum yum yum yum!!!!!

It's everything you could expect from a diner. Broad menu. Contrary to other reviews I found the owner to be friendly, he greeted me at the door and sat me. He stopped by to make sure everything was okay. Service was quick and with a smile.

My bf and I were visiting in the area and wanted something "different" for breakfast. Honestly I've gotten quite tired of eating at a chain and having a sub-par meal, at best. We found this classy little place and decided it was worth a shot! The building is very cute, decent parking for the space inside. It is kind of a hassle to get out of if you are going back towards 19. Not too much just a tiny hassle :) The waitress was very fast and efficient. Nice but could have been a tad bit more friendly, if that makes sense. Very to the point. But she checked on us quite a bit and was always right back with whatever we needed. The food is why I rated a 4 and not a 5. I got the country Benedict (I believe that's what it was called) It was good, I wasn't a fan of the home fries. Would have liked to have another option for a potato. He got the NY steak and eggs. The steak was kind of small and from what he said it was pretty bland. He had to ask for A1 to get thru it. If we are in the area we will most likely return for another try!

This place...where to begin. Let me start by saying I've been in the hospitality industry for 14 years. The owner of this restaurant needs to look up the definition of hospitality and realize what business he got into. He's very rude and runs the place like a dictator and after watching the way he treats his staff, I will absolutely never go back. I refuse to condone that kind of behavior. The food is subpar. I agree with another reviewer and suggest everyone try Central Park on 54 just a few miles away. Much better experience.

I was so ready to give this place 5 stars. It was clean, quiet, and the food was great but not for the younger crowd and sadly by younger I mean 30.. I went in with high hopes because of the reviews I had read. How friendly the staff were and so on. But the staff seemed shut off by my presence. The owner sat me but didn't say more than 2 words to me. And same with my waitress. I never even saw her smile. I'm a southern girl with the thank you ma'ams and sirs and they just looked at me and moved on. The female owner would barely even make eye contact as I paid my ticket to leave. All in all I really did enjoy the food but didn't feel very welcome at all. They made me feel extremely out of place. Eating alone is already awkward, but happens when the kids are in school and the husband is overseas.. This experience made me feel that much more lonely..

This was the second time eating here and both visits were wonderful. I enjoy the small town feel of the restaurant and the staff is always on top of things. The food tastes great and is always cook to order. I recorded this place for locals and visitors alike.

We just moved here from tampa and are very glad we found this place off the beaten path you have to know it's here or be referred by someone to know about it. It is exceptionally clean and completely modern and new. The only place I could say that compares in tampa is first watch. If I had known this place was here I would have driven from tampa for it. Owner is extremely attentive mentioned to me he was making fresh coffee as he passed the table. My only complaint is they close at 230 and on Sundays maybe until 330 would be better.

Don't eat here if you like to relax and take your time. I eat breakfast out everyday, this is my time to relax, catch up on the news, and get away from life for an hour or so. I went to Madisons last week for the first time, the food was decent although the ice tea tasted like it was instant. Thought I would try it again today, went in, sat down and started reading on my tablet. The watress seemed a bit put off by me not ordering right away, and to my surprise the owner walked up. He said that I needed to put an order in because it was Sunday and they were very busy (even though he still had open tables and no wait). Note that I was only there 5, maybe 10 minutes tops so I left $5 for the watress and tea and left. Again, I eat breakfast out EVERYDAY but will never, ever step foot in this place again. A bit short sighted IMO.

We have been going to this restaurant forever and are NEVER disappointed. I special order everything and normally it's always messed up; not here. And even when we had a small mistake they bent over backwards to fix it. I just had the most amazing mothers day breakfast!! Please give it a shot, but be warned there will be a line!

The owner made rude comments about my husband's appetite when he thought we were out of ear shot. Prior to that we had mixed experiences, sometimes the service was good and other times it wasn't. We have only tried the breakfast menu but the food was good. We have not been back since our bad experience.

This place is great! The place is decorated simply, and is bright and open. The owner, his wife, their daughter, and son in law all work there. They are all smiling and friendly every time I go. Every waitress I've had has been friendly and quick with service. Upon sitting and ordering the owner and his wife always drop by to ask how myself and my family are doing. They are good hardworking people. After reading some of the more negative reviews I would be more inclined to think they were difficult, impossible to please customers. Especially the lady who implied the owner was going to hit her. That is totally NOT how this man has acted in the years I have been eating there. I mainly eat here for breakfast, which is always fresh, made to order, and hot. My eggs come out perfectly over easy every time. The few times I've had lunch were just as satisfying. I usually get the greek chicken pita. The servings are large, and I have trouble finishing my food most of the time. The prices are very affordable for what you are getting. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking to eat out for breakfast or lunch. It is well cooked, better quality food than most of the crap you find in New Port Richey.

Bad RUDE manger/owner .. Food is NOT fresh, i ordered chicken fried steak , they put brown beef gravy on it, born and raised in the south, it is served with white gravy.. white pepper gravy .. the "mashed potatoes " were boxed potato flakes ,i asked the server if that was beef gravy, she said yes, i told her it is supposed to be served with white,she told me every place she worked at served it w brown, i asked her where??? she never answered me.. no where on the menu it said brown gravy ... the manager came over with a raised voice and told me they only served white for breakfast, he was so defensive , i was not rude or nasty to him... i thought he was going to hit me he was so mad, i told him i didnt want the food, just charge me for the broccoli, which was frozen . .. which he did 1.79. for 1/4 cup frozen broccoli... the bathroom was the cleanest ive ever been in...the deco while calm needed a little more color...I will never come back ever

Great place for breakfast and lunch. I visit here every time I am in the area. Tom and family do a wonderful job and are very concerned about quality and comfort. They go out of there way to make sure everything is top notch. Waffles, Omelets, Eggs Benedict are all outstanding as well as the soups (lemon chicken orzo) and all of the sandwiches. I cannot say enough good about this place.
